The construction of photovoltaic and wind power projects around lakes and in the branches of reservoirs shall be scientifically demonstrated and strictly controlled. They shall not be arranged in areas with flood control and water supply functions and water ecology and water environment protection needs, shall not hinder the smooth flow of flood, shall not endanger the safety of reservoir dams, dikes and other hydraulic engineering facilities, and shall not affect the stability of river regime and shipping safety.
According to the official wechat account of the Ministry of water resources "China water resources" on May 24, the Ministry of water resources recently issued the guiding opinions of the Ministry of water resources on strengthening the spatial control of river and lake shoreline.
